I am trying to use the Splash one on my site..
One problem and/or question..
I use Firefox as my main browser.
When I maximize my window when viewing my blog, the content is off from the background image.
Its like theyre aligned differently.
Looks like it works fine in IE and when my window isnt maximized in Firefox.
I can adjust the FF window to make it line up.
Do you know anything about this?
Ive looked through the code and tried to change things to fix it but cant figure it out.

Thanks!! You won't loose any posts, you will only need to re add the additional item on the side bar like the counter and Blogs I Read section. Just login to blogger, go to the template section and replace the existing code with the one you downloaded. Before replacing save the exiting template code in a text file. Just a small comment.. Just like you I tested the template in IE and somehow the contents of my sidebar shifted all the way down to the very bottom of the page. I've got the latest IE edition. I use Mozilla's Firefox and sometimes Opera and in both browsers the template displays just fine. Do you know how I can get the contents back on top in IE or do you think it's a Blogger-problem..?

Your templates are all wicked and it was only when I noticed the Nadal one that I thought it would be great to have my blog with an Arsenal related background

As a relative techno nincompoop whose knowledge of HTML doesn't fill the back of a matchbox, I wouldn't know where to start. So if you should have nothing better to do, I'd be eternally grateful if you'd consider helping out. If it made life easier I'd be only too pleased to forward a background pic

My biggest concern is whether I can just copy and paste the code into my Blogspot template, without causing any problems?

really gud blog u got here... im not sure if u'd like the idea.. but i was wondering if u cud make a template with a very *dark* theme ... not sure how to xplain.. but i guess very broody, contemplative and dark..something that inspires thought i guess... a backgrnd with the statue of 'the thinker' wud also b nice...surely contemplative but not dark ...

if u're not sure wat im talkin abt (cos i doubt u are ;) ) its ok... keep up the great work ... the rain one was my favorite....
although that one was the romantic aspect of it ... there r also other situations where rain is shown to mean a grim situation, gloom or even impending death ... well enuf with this...:)

Hey aman could you get me a template with a runner's background..the template should preferrably have a black or equivalent dark bacground for ease of readability..The tour de france template was good except for its light background...thanks I love your templates. I've been setting up a blog for a friend who's about to join the army but I couldn't find any templates with a military theme. Yours are beautiful though. It would be awesome if you could make a military themed template - just something simple - but what you have here already is great. I would like a christmas style one. I like the columns the length that they are now, but I would like something with Santa Claus or a Christmas Tree. Is there anyway you can help me out. I have found a picture on photobucket that I would like to use, the background I would like Red and white. I love coming here to see if you have updates and I have used two of your templates previously and they worked wonderful for me. Here is the Image I found that I like.

Now I realise your job isn't tech support but if you, or anyone else who reads these comments, can help out with my raino template problem that'd be great! I noticed that Nikje had this same issue earlier on in these comments but I couldn't see a reply in the comments section so sorry for repeating it. In IE my sidebar shifts to the bottom of the screen (I'm using your raino template). This issue is only in IE (not in Firefox or Opera). Do you know how I can fix the problem? Hey...

Thanks for your help!! Problem viewing sidebar in IE...it moves down the page. I use Firefox and its fine...and its not because my images in sidebar are too large. There must be a CSS fix somewhere, but I cant find it on the web - cant get a str8 answer out there, do you have one? Thanks! Ah, nevermind, I got it! Only the top part of the page can be seen the rest of the material and the sidebar can't be seen. what could be the reason. and can make a template with some realy picture of being inside the brain or something Hey, I'm in Miami. The Miami skyline one has a not-very-attractive shot. Can you get a nicer shot of the bay/trees/islands, etc or some other nicer miami shot? :)

I like the layout of the bottom bit but the images at the top are too big, as you will see they fill a whole screen and you have to scroll down to see the writing - I think you should be able to see the writing as soon as you view the page... does that make sense?!

So far I use a good template that cover all function of the blog and I'm so sad to see that Taipei 101 display the default page of blogger when they want to post a comment.

cak moki You can fix the sidebar issue by increasing the size of the sidebar. find where sidebar is defined:
#sidebar and then you'll see a width declared. increase this number to make it wider (i.e. width:200px;) Love this template. k I love this template, but I'm having some trouble. The side panels, with the blue and green swirls, are sitting within the header panel (with the pink and yellow swirls) as opposed to just outside. So they're covering up part of the header panel, and the actual text of the blog and the about me section is half on the pink background, half on the blue and green side panels. Help! i've been using your template (tweaked a tiny bit as you can see) for 10 months now and i love it.

I have set this as my blog template..but i donno how to fit the sidebar and the main posts body to be visible within the window. the sidebar goes down to the end of the web page...also the header photo needs to be stretched as some part appears grey in my blog. Please Help!

the thing is, i downloaded the "splash" template and i have followed all ur instructions, but when i preview my blog, the back ground color does change, but the design "the header" etc doesnt show up at all!

Using the old blogger do not give access to the new functionalities like change fonts or title colour etc....

I am using modified version. It's great, but now I want to try something new.

Excellent work! Istalled this on the husband's blog for him. He really likes it, and it'll work fine for what he does and can do. I think it is beautiful, but I wish the grey fields were actually not part of the image itself. That kind of takes away from the adaptability of the template to one's needs (widening the columns, altering the opacity, etc.) Oh well.

Thanks Fixed the above thingy by reverting to classic template, but now for some reason, the background comes out to be blank. I have uploaded the picture at photobucket but still it aint workig. Please help! Did some tinkering, and now its working!! :)

Then I used Minima Stretch as the starting template, add the new background, adjusted the margins, and added a third column on the far right where I will place videos, pitures, etc. If anyone wants the image size and the code, I can pass it along. I don't know much about HTML but managed to piece together how to do this from several different sources. Also I didn't have to use Photobucket. As suggested by other sources, I made a temporary post of the image in Blogger and worked from that !! Now I just have to tinker with the colours and a few other bits to make it look really good. Took me a bit of playing around with it to get the background to widen to full screen.

Then adusting the content over so it could match the content and side bar.

Didn't realize till later that the content and side bar graphic is part of the actual background, as I was trying to figure out how to adjust it and move it.

As it is, excellent work. I have scanned and viewed through many blog templates and I have found yours so far to be very good in background imagery.
